Three Football Players Named To Football Gazette's All-South Region Team

WESTMONT, IL - Linebackers Justin Wood and Kareem Morse along with defensive back Rob Rodriguez were named to the Football Gazette's All-South Region Team announced this week.

Wood, a senior, was named Second Team All-South by Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette. Wood led the team in tackles for four straight years, he was a First Team All-USA South selection in 2005, was a First Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association and was named to the play in the 2005 Aztec Bowl.

Earning Honorable Mention All-South honors were Morse and Rodriguez.

Morse was a First Team All-USA South choice. He was a Second Team Preseason All-American by D3football.com. He was a First Team All-State selection and was named was named the Division II-III Linebacker/Defensive Back of the Year by the Touchdown Club of Richmond.

Rodriquez, a VA Beach, VA native, was named the 2005 USA South Defensive Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection. He was a First Team All-State choice, and a Second Team All-South choice by D3football.com.
