Morse Adds Another Accolade

NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Christopher Newport senior linebacker Kareem Morse was named the Division II-III Linebacker/Defensive Back of the Year by the Touchdown Club of Richmond.

Morse, a senior out of Hopewell, VA, was second on the team in total tackles with 82. He led the team with 50 solo tackles. He also finished with five tackles for a loss of 29 yards, including 2.5 sacks for a loss of 20 yards. He also had one interception, two pass break-ups and one blocked kick.

Christopher Newport finished 6-4 overall and 5-2 in the USA South.
