Long Named To D3football.com's Team Of The Week

STERLING, VA - Christopher Newport's Justin Long was named to the D3football.com's Team of the Week, announced Wednesday.

Long, a senior defensive back from VA Beach, VA, had one an outstanding game Saturday. On a day where the rain never seemed to let up, he finished second on the team in total tackles with eight (three solo, five assisted). He also had 2.5 tackles for a loss of eight yards. He finished with one interception, and recovered a fumble that he caused in CNU's 28-0 win over Greensboro.

The Captains are 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the USA South. CNU returns to action Saturday as they travel to Maryville (TN) with kick-off set for 1:30 pm.
