Sailing Places 10th At Tom Curtis Memorial Regatta

ALEXANDRIA, VA - Christopher Newport's sailing team finished in 10th place at the 2005 Tom Curtis Memorial Regatta held Oct. 1-2 and hosted by Georgetown University.

Georgetown finished first, followed by Navy, St. Mary's, King's Point and Washington College.

CNU's 10th place finish put them ahead of William & Mary, Princeton, St. John's, Maryland, Cornell, Virginia Tech, Salisbury, and George Washington.

The team consisted of Ben France, Will Summers, Liz Hund, Megan Murray, Matt Lythgoe, Kate McClintock, Noah Borthen and Rebecca Casey.

The sailing team returns to action Oct. 8-9 at the Hobart Fall Intersectional.
