Field Hockey Moves Up One Spot To 15th In Latest NFHCA Poll

GLEN ALLEN, VA - Christopher Newport's field hockey team moved back to 15th in the newest National Field Hockey Coaches Association Top 20 poll released Tuesday morning.

The Lady Captains are coming off a 2-0 week with consecutive 3-0 wins on the road. CNU won at Bridgewater on Saturday and defeated the South's sixth-ranked team, Washington & Lee, on Sunday.

Christopher Newport is 10-3 on the year, its third straight season of 10 or more wins. The Lady Captains return to action Saturday for their final regular season home game at 12 pm against 13th-ranked Juniata.
