Conques To Play In IWLCA All-Star Game

NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Christopher Newport's women's lacrosse player Kristen Conques will play in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's North/South All-Star game on June 16.

Conques becomes the first player in program history to be selected to play in the IWLCA's all-star game. This year's game is to be played in Downington, PA on June 16.

The IWLCA and STX join together proudly to sponsor this event that will be held as part of the STX Farewell Lacrosse Festival.

Conques, a First Team All-USA South performer, led the Lady Captains in goals (54), assists (34) and points (88) in 2007. She is also the program's all-time leader in goals, assists and points in a career.
