Men's Basketball Re-Enters Top 25 At No. 25

NORWALK, CT - Christopher Newport's men's basketball team re-entered d3hoops.com's top 25 poll at No. 25 this week.

The Captains, fresh off a 92-84 win over Frostburg St. this past Saturday, were ranked No. 18 in the preseason poll. Christopher Newport is 5-3 on the year and they are the second USA South team ranked in the top 25 this week. Averett, 9-0 on the season, moved up three spots to No. 12 in the latest poll.

CNU returns to action Wednesday as they travel to Greensboro, NC for the Greensboro College Classic. The Captains will take on John Carroll on Wednesday with tip-off set for 5:30 pm.
