Men's Tennis Ranked 12th, Mook 15th, Glidewell 17th, Glidewell And Mook 8th In Atlantic South Region

NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Christopher Newport's men's tennis team remained 12th in the Atlantic South while John Mook entered the singles at No. 15 and the doubles team of Mook and Eddie Glidewell moved up to eighth.

The Captains remained 12th in the region. CNU still has six of the top 15 teams in the region still to play in Mary Washington (No. 2), Washington & Lee (No. 4), Johns Hopkins (No. 5), Salisbury (No. 8), Rhodes (No. 9), and Methodist (No. 13).

In singles, John Mook has played at No. 1 in three of the team's first four matches and entered the rankings for the first time in his CNU career. Glidewell remained in the new rankings this spring. He was 9th in the fall rankings. This year, Glidewell is 4-0, with three of his wins coming at No. 2.

Mook and Glidewell, who were ranked 10th in the fall rankings, moved up two spots to No. 8. The pair is 4-0 at the top spot.
