Glidewell And Mook Earn A Bid In NCAA Tournament

NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Christopher Newport men's tennis players Eddie Glidewell and John Mook have earned a spot in doubles in the NCAA Tournament, the NCAA announced Monday.

Mook and Glidewell played No. 1 for the Captains this year and finished 16-4 in dual matches and are currently ranked fifth in the Atlantic-South. The duo is 19-6 for the year, including matches in several fall tournaments.

It's the first appearance for any men's individual or doubles team since CNU's Jason Martin made the NCAA field in singles play in 2001.

Glidewell and Mook will travel to St. Louis, MO and begin play May 18-20.
