Glidewell And Mook Fall In First Round Of NCAA Double Competition

ST. LOUIS, MO - Christopher Newport's men's tennis duo of Eddie Glidewell and John Mook lost in the first round of the NCAA Championships Friday afternoon.

The championships are hosted by Washington (MO) University.

Glidewell and Mook, ranked 5th in the Atlantic South and the team's No. 1 doubles tandem, lost to the host school's number one team. Charlie Cutler and Chris Hoeland defeated Glidewell and Mook in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.

Glidewell and Mook finish the year 16-5 overall in doubles action.
