Day One Of NCAA Indoor Championships Complete

NORTHFIELD, MN - Christopher Newport had three athletes compete on day one of the NCAA Indoor Championships held on the campus of St. Olaf College Friday evening.

In the men's high jump, Joseph Owens finished fourth with a leap of 6'7.5".

In the women's mile, senior Megan Fogarty qualified for the finals tomorrow with a run of 5:01.93, the sixth best time out of the two heats.

In the women's 55-meter hurdles, Karen Simon also qualified for the finals tomorrow with a time of 8.35 to finish fourth in her heat and tied for the fifth fastest time.

NCAA Indoor Championships conclude tomorrow.
