NCAA Track National Championships Complete, Clark Finishes Fourth In The Shot Put

LISLE, IL - Just two Christopher Newport track athletes competed on day one with the most promising finish coming from freshman Rachael Clark where she finished fourth in the nation in the women's shot put.

Clark, participating in her first season on the CNU track squad finished second in her flight with a toss of 45'10", the fourth best toss at the championships.

In the triple jump, Rob Rodriquez finished seventh in his round with a jump of 45'11.25" but did not qualify for the finals.
