Volleyball To Play Trinity (TX) In First Round Of NCAA Tournament

NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Head Coach Lindsay Sheppard and her 2005 USA South Conference Volleyball Tournament champion squad will head to Atlanta, GA to take on Trinity (TX) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The six-team regional will be held on the campus of Emory (GA) University. The Lady Captains and Trinity will square off on Thursday at 4:30 pm. The winner will meet Austin (TX) in the second round.

The Lady Captains are 32-5 overall and have tied the school record for wins for the second consecutive season. CNU defeated Greensboro 3-2, despite dropping the first two games, in the USA South Conference Tournament to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in five seasons.
