Bryant Named To Hoop N Surf's All-Tournament Team

HONOLULU, HI - Christopher Newport forward Candace Bryant was named to the 2006 Hoop N Surf Classic's All-Tournament Team, the organizers announced late Wednesday night.

Bryant had nine points and 13 rebounds on 4-of-15 shooting in the Lady Captains 76-69 loss to Benedictine (KS) and finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds on 7-of-14 shooting to help lead CNU past No. 22 Lake Forest (IL), 65-62.

Bryant averaged 12.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in the Lady Captains two games at the Hoop N Surf Classic.

Christopher Newport is 5-3 on the year. CNU returns to action on January 2 as they host St. Mary's (MD) at 6 pm.
