LACROSSE FALLS TO GREENSBORO, 8-6, IN DIXIE TITLE GAME

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The lacrosse team lost a tough, 8-6, decision to Dixie Conference regular season champion Greensboro in the championship game of the first Dixie Lacrosse Tournament Sunday at Captains Field.

CNU trailed at halftime 4-2 and battled the Pride in the last 30 minutes, but could not catch up.

Wendy Wilson paced CNU with three goals. The Lady Captains finished their inaugural season 2-9.
