LACROSSE FALLS AT HOME TO FROSTBURG ST.

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – CNU’s women’s lacrosse team dropped a 9-2 decision to Frostburg St. Saturday afternoon.

After a rough first half, the Lady Captains played considerably better in the second half creating turnovers and making great saves.

Kristen Conques and Elaine Kirby scored the lone goals for CNU.

Elizabeth Werbiskis had eight saves in goal as Frostburg St. out shot the Lady Captains 22-16.

CNU is now 0-2 and returns to action this Wednesday as they travel to VA Wesleyan with start time set for 7 pm.
