Shenandoah actually scored the game’s first goal in just 49 seconds when Erika Bradd tallied. But CNU answered with 12 consecutive scores to build the big halftime margin. Kristen Conques had four of the scores and Elaine Kirby and Kristyn Hankins three each.
Kirby finished with five goals, while Conques had four with four assists, Hankins scored four and Sally Allstadt added one.
Becky Smith led Shenandoah with two goals and Sharon Sparwasser, Kelly Matagiese and Bradd had one each.
CNU improves to 6-8 overall and 3-1 in USA South play, while Shenandoah is 5-5 and 2-3.
