SOFTBALL SPLITS ON FINAL DAYS AT METHODIST TOURN.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The softball team split its final two games at the Methodist Invitational Saturday, defeating Averett 5-2, but falling to Virginia Wesleyan, 3-0.

In the win over Averett Stacey Hundley was 2-4 and Jennifer Nowacki 2-3 with a triple. Vanessa Gray got the win.

Against Virginia Wesleyan Nowacki was 2-3.

CNU opens at home Monday against Susquehanna, weather permitting.

BASEBALL HAS GAME WITH N.C. WESLEYAN SUSPENDED

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The baseball team’s game with N.C. Wesleyan Saturday was suspended in the top of the sixth inning when rain made the field unplayable. The contest will be picked up at that spot later in the season with CNU leading, 3-0.
