SOFTBALL DROPS A 4-3 DECISION TO JUNIATA

NORFOLK, VA – CNU’s softball lost its first game of the season in the VA Wesleyan Tournament to Juniata 4-3 Saturday afternoon.

Tammi Perok led the Lady Captain attack going 2-for-4 with a double. Losing pitcher Vanessa Gray (1-1) was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Cynthia McQueen was also 1-for-3 with a double.

CNU is now 2-1 and will play Gwynedd-Mercy Sunday at Bayside High School at 8 am.
