SOFTBALL FALLS IN VIRGINIA WESLEYAN TOURNAMENT

NORFOLK, Va. – Some untimely errors late in the game spelled the difference as the softball team lost to host Virginia Wesleyan, 8-5, in the semi-finals of the Marlins’ Tournament Saturday.

For the Lady Captains Stacey Hundley went 2-4, Tammi Perok was 2-4 with a home run and Vanessa Gray was 3-3 with a home run.

The loss ended an eight-game winning streak, and dropped CNU to 10-3.

The Lady Captains host Salisbury St. Tuesday at 2:00.
