SOFTBALL SPLITS WITH SALISBURY

SALISBURY, MD – CNU’s softball team traveled to Salisbury University Tuesday afternoon and dropped the first game 5-0 but rebounded to take the second game 6-1.

In game one, the Lady Captains were led by Jennifer Nowacki and Nicole Gray who both had two hits.

Vanessa Gray took the loss and is now 6-3.

In game two, CNU rebounded for the split and were led by Stacey Hundley, Dallas Slosjarik and Jen Harrell who all had two hits apiece.

Page Robbins won her first game of the year.

The Lady Captains are now 8-5 overall and 2-0 in the Dixie Conference.

CNU returns to action this Thursday as they play host to Shenandoah at 2:30 pm.
