SOFTBALL SPLITS WITH SALISBURY ST.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The softball team split a doubleheader with Salisbury St. Tuesday, dropping the first game, 10-0, but bouncing back for an exciting, 1-0, victory in the night cap.

In the second game Donna Cerami lifted her record to 7-1, pitching a three-hitter and driving in the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Tammi Perok was 2-3.

CNU, now 11-4, hosts Southern Virginia Thursday. Salisbury St. is now 10-2.
