SOFTBALL SWEEPS DOUBLEHEADER FROM VA WESLEYAN

NORFOLK, VA – CNU’s softball team traveled to VA Wesleyan Monday afternoon and swept a doubleheader from the Lady Marlins 5-1 and 4-0.

In the first game, Vanessa Gray was the winning pitcher, winning her 13^th game of the year.

Dallas Slosjarik, Jen Harrell and Jennifer Nowacki were all 2-for-4.

In game two, Harrell led the CNU attack with two hits.

Page Robbins took the win, her fourth of the season.

The Lady Captains are now 22-7 overall and 7-1 in the Dixie Conference.

CNU returns home tomorrow as they take on Ferrum beginning at 2:30 pm.
