CERAMI WINS TWO AS SOFTBALL SWEEPS ST. JOSEPH'S (ME.), 2-0 AND 8-5
 NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Sophomore Donna Cerami picked up the win in both games as the softball team swept a doubleheader from St. Joseph’s (Me.), 2-0 and 8-5, Thursday at Captains Field.
  Cerami pitched a one-hitter in the opening game and Crystal Storey drove in the game’s only two runs with a fifth inning triple. Cermami struck out five and walked just one. Stacey Hundley went 2-3, Jen Harrell was also 2-3 with a double and Crystal Bryant-Nelson was 2-3.
  In the second game CNU scored three in the sixth inning to break a 5-5 tie and get the victory that ran its record to 13-3-1. Harrell’s single drove in the go-ahead runs and Jenise Wade singled to drive in the final run. Hundley was again 2-3, Harrell went 3-4 with a double and three RBIs, Wade was 2-3 with three RBIs and Lesley Jenkins was 2-3.
  Cerami pitched a total of 12 innings on the day, getting the win in relief in game two. She allowed just two hits, struck out ten and walked only two.
  CNU plays in the Ferrum Tournament Friday and Saturday.
